Eco Warriors:
Happy New Year from the Eco Warriors!
As you may know we were mentioned recently in Parliament by our local MP Darren Paffey.
We are thrilled that we were able to use our voice to raise awareness about our local River Itchen and that our local MP is working hard to support us with this issue.
Below is the letter we received from Mr. Paffey alongside what he said about us in parliament.
We are continuing our Eco work this half term with the RSPB Big Schools birdwatch. We will be going outside with our classes to count the number of different birds that we see.
Watch this space for another competition related to this coming up soon!
Finally, we will be launching another competition with ‘Clean Air Schools’ to design a banner for the front of our school. The two winners of this competition will have their designs transferred on to the banner and it will be displayed for all to see out the front of our school on Manor Farm Road. Instructions on how to take part will be shared with you by your teachers soon.
Thank you for your support and help with our Eco issues - together we can truly be architects of a better world.
