School of Sanctuary:

This year, our Sanctuary Ambassadors team has grown! The children are so passionate about showing their welcoming natures to everyone who comes to our school.  Thinking about others, the children were posed the question: "What three things would you take if you had to leave now and why?"  It led to amazing conversations about how it is very difficult for people leaving their homes and seeking sanctuary and the children displayed their empathetic natures. They have also talked about how they can continue to spread the messages about being a 'School of Sanctuary' across the whole school and have been putting together a PowerPoint to share with their peers in an assembly. They are extremely passionate and want to share their knowledge with others!
