Science

The children have been eagerly watching to see which of their seeds would grow. We were all very surprised to find out that the seed with no light actually still grew quite a lot, however, it was not as healthy looking as the control plant. From this, the children were able to conclude that plants are able to survive without light, but will be much healthier with it. Watch this space to see what other things we might be able to grow. 

From pom poms to sunflowers, Year 2 have been very busy creating their products for this years fiver challenge. The children have been working really hard in class to grow their £5 so that we are able to support a range of charities. Are you able to help out? Come along every Tuesday at 3:15 outside Year 2 to see all the amazing products we have on offer. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making them.
