Year 6 blog:

Last week, Year 6 had the exciting opportunity to not only watch but also actively participate in an incredible performance of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. With just three actors in the traveling theatre group, the children were encouraged to get involved. Many of them were selected to join the cast, while everyone had a chance to perform iconic lines, such as “Double, double, toil and trouble,” and stand to hail the King whenever he made his entrance!

This engaging and interactive experience has left us eagerly anticipating our next writing unit, where we will be crafting our own soliloquies and narratives inspired by the story of Macbeth.
