During their Enrichment Days, children in Year 1 to 6 have been working hard to create a classroom display around the What, Why and How of being ecological and environmentally aware. They worked in groups to come up with ideas about what it means to be ECO in our community and on a wider themed level; why we should be more Eco-Aware and how we can work together towards this goal. The children then worked in small teams to create "leaf strings" for a class display. Different leaves of various stages of autumn are now pride of place on display in the ECO room.

Architects of a Better World

Our central display board outside the school office now captures some wonderful examples of our children's work to support our school's motto of "empowering our children to be architects of a better world". When you visit next, you will see examples through learning of children taking risks, celebrating and being proud of their work, caring, experimenting and supporting each other/the community.
