Reading Ambassadors:

Our pupil Reading Ambassadors were delighted to receive a reply from the Department for Culture, Media & Sport, in relation to their letter about school libraries and our local library, Cobbett Road.

They agreed with our Reading Ambassadors about how important school libraries are and acknowledged their concerns about the opening hours of Cobbett Road (our local public library).

They also celebrated and praised the passion our Ambassdors have for all things reading!

Our KS1 pupils will be visiting Cobbett Road library in March and we will discuss the opening hours with staff at the library on our trip, which is presently run by community volunteers. Hopefully, we can drive some change! We are so proud of our Reading Ambassadors for their work in living our mission to become 'Architects of a Better World'.
