Year 6 has positively sprung into action during our first week back!

The children have shown an energised and motivated attitude to learning as they begin their final full term in primary school. Our highlight of the week has been the introduction of our new writing unit, Dear Norman. We have explored several, rather amusing, letters sent to Norman - a fictional character who is hiding from his family in his tree house! Alongside this, we have been consolidating familiar skills in Maths and extending our existing knowledge of triangle facts. Year 6 have been linking these to coordinates in order to plot, reflect and translate shapes on a quadrant. Again, it has been a fantastic week to kick off Summer 1!
