Year 2

Wow! What a day! Last Friday,

Year 2 took part in Great Gardening Day and we were able to have a go at lots of different activities. First of all, we used our old wellies to create some wellie planters for our school playground using just gravel, soil and seeds. Then, we all planted some lavender into pots so that we could grow it in our corridor before planting it outside in the school grounds. Although it was very warm, the children really enjoyed pulling up their sleeves and learning some new gardening skills.
